Apollo Greek and Lebanese Cafe in Alexandria

Was driving thru and wanted to stop and get some food. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The place sits next to a gas station and doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside was very welcoming. Ymtge young man that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I took it to go, and they got it out to me fairly fast. They food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place for sure. Fantastic!!

Love the spot ...but not enough meat on my gyro today

Food was not seasons, customer service was horrible. Dishes with our food on them looked as if these plates sat and collected dust. I had it all around my plate, also on my silverware. Not impressed. Also I asked for no mushrooms. And was told we will do our best but you can put to the side. Not impressed 😒 actually force my self with 3 bites. It's a no for me

I don't agree with the review of the Chicken Shawarma as "dry, favorless chicken." My chicken Shawarma has always been tender and tasty. I especially love their hummus.

This is a hidden gem in Alexandria, La. I eat here just about every week. The food is excellent as it the service. Over the years, since they have opened, their business has really grown. It is always busy at lunch and dinner. But the staff accommodates everyone that comes thru the door and never a wait to be seated! The food is the best Mediterranean food in Central Louisiana! The staff are always friendly and have a smile on their face. So leave your attitudes at the door, open your minds to a new level of dining and food, and enjoy the experience. Every thing I have tried here has been delicious. This is not your run of mill fast food or fried dishes typical of Central Louisiana! It is a delight to your palate if you are open to trying new foods!

Wonderful food, great atmosphere, restaurant was clean, counter help was helpful with the menu since it was my first time in. I will be going back and sampling down the menu....everything looked and sound good. They even had daily specials listed on a board by the register. Only thing was the signage was not very noticeable from the road. The business sits back a bit from the road. If I had not searched it on maps, I wouldn't have seen it

Best place in the area for lamb. Didn't do anything for the wife as she never ate lamb before. My son and I loved it.

Great food. A little overpriced and the atmosphere could use a little work but overall great place to eat. It's better to order individual items that you want to eat because you will get a little better deal. If you order the meals you get very little portions and they charge a lot more for it. Order meat by the pound and add your sides as you want.

The food and staff were both great. They used to have a location in Pineville and it's the same family. The Gyro pasta dinner is something I enjoy that I haven't found at other Greek restaurants when I travel out of town.

Really really yummy. Lube the chicken shwarma! ...could have a little less salt and dining room is kinda funky/outdated. But a strong four stars for yummy fresh food in a timely manner.... A treasure in a small LA town.

The food had no flavor. Had to put salt pepper and hot sauce on everything we ordered and still could barely eat it. Everything was soaked in oil or grease. Server only came to our table to bring our food out. Forget about a refill. Over all horrible experience and I was so excited about trying something new. Never again 😕

Don’t let the location in this small plaza fool you; this is the best Mediterranean/Palestinian food!! Clean. Great service. Owner on site. He cooks. He serves. He is pleasant! We were driving through town trying to find a good meal and we found a great meal! Highly recommend.
